Our multi-disciplinary team of experienced professionals have worked for multinational companies, leading national and international charities, UN agencies and the UK Department for International Development. With wide ranging expertise including global project management, business process engineering, international law, and the management of environmental, development and humanitarian agencies and programmes, we understand the complexities and benefits of building productive and sustainable long term partnerships between donors and the charitable sector.

Martin Soorjoo - Chief Executive Officer
Martin has worked for 18 years in the fields of domestic and international social causes. Between 1990 and 2004 Martin practised as a human rights barrister. Martin's work with NGOs and UN agencies during his legal career, led him to join a social enterprise in 2005 that worked with companies, the UN and domestic and international charities.

Sally Roberts - Chief Operations Officer
Sally has 17 years experience of program/project management and business operations engineering/re-engineering. She has consulted in both the UK and USA and managed projects/operations across multiple continents. Roles include: Vice-President Program Management Telephia USA, Global Project Director ACNielsen HQ USA, International Project Manager Burmah Castrol HQ UK. Project Manager Consultant at: Safeway HQ USA, Department of Health UK, Operations Nat West Bank HQ UK, 2 software houses in U.K, various roles including Business Analyst at BUPA UK. In 2005 Sally brought her operational skills to the social sector becoming Chief Operations Officer for a social enterprise that worked with companies, domestic and international charities. During this period Sally worked with both KPMG and the UN.

Jean-Paul Penrose - Environment
Jean-Paul has spent many years as an environment and international Development advisor to UN Agencies, international donors and NGOs. Jean-Paul was previously the Department For International Development's environment Advisor for West and North Africa and CSR adviser for the International Finance Corporation in Peru .

Ellie Salkeld - Humanitarian and Development
Ellie previously worked in the humanitarian and development world for over a decade, having a background in international procurement and logistics. Initially working for NGOs throughout the world in administration and as Country Director, Ellie moved to DFID's emergency response team and spent four years managing UK responses to emergencies and disasters, preparing strategy, ministerial advice, and programming UK funds for relief efforts with the UN and NGOs.

Jamie Hart - Research
Both in his previous role as researcher for a social enterprise and whilst studying for his Masters in 'Corporate Governance and Business Ethics', Jamie has spent many years researching the impact made by charities and companies in making society a better place. Jamie ensures that both clients and colleagues are always on top of the latest relevant information and news and is the driving force behind the Assured Giving Newsletter.


Amy Selwyn - Strategy and Media

Amy has worked for news and media companies for 25 years. She has helped organizations as diverse as The New York Times, the BBC and The Associated Press determine how best to promote their brands internationally, sell content and appeal to audiences in the digital world. Current clients include the European Broadcasting Union, The Press Association, News Xchange, ITN Source, the BBC and others. In her spare time, Amy teaches the history of the Roman Empire.
